HAMSTERster just received a mention — albeit quite brief — in the latest issue of Newsweek. I'm not sure if this single sentence is responsible for the latest surge in new members, but I would like to welcome everybody who has recently joined the site and shared their pet with the rest of cyberspace. Please note that if you do not have have a picture of your pet available to upload, then please do not make a profile for them yet. Also, when you submit a profile to be added, please wait until you are redirected to the actual profile page so that your picture can be transferred and resized. Sometimes this may take a few minutes, but please do not stop the page from loading. If everybody can keep these simple things in mind, I will be very happy and the site will run much smoother.
